China’s Road Traffic Mortality Rate and Its Empirical Research from Socio-Economic Factors Based on the Tobit Model

Road transport safety is an important part of construction in China. China now the world’s second-largest country for road traffic deaths. Research on mortality rate (RTMR) great significance promoting sustainable development global traffic. This study analyzes RTMR 31 provinces between 2003 and 2018. shows that demonstrated a downward trend after 2004, but it increased slightly reaching lowest points 2015. The coastal western areas was quite high, requiring targeted management prevention. During period, Guangdong Tibet improved greatly, whereas Hubei Guangxi deteriorated.
